My Lai was an underated political hardcore band from Chicago.
Vicious. That's the first word that comes to mind when
listening to My Lai's new CD. If you're having difficulty
finding harsh, hardcore rock or have been mourning the loss
of some great noise & math rock bands in the past few
years, I'd heartily recommend that you listen to My Lai. It'll
make you feel better about things, and perhaps, at the same
time, even open your eyes to some of the idiocy in the world
around you. Pillowfight.com
VICTIMS FAMILY on speed with a good dose of political
criticism. With some grindy-emo thrown in. And a healthy dose
of SWING KIDS added to the mix. From Diet Society.com |
