Singer/guitarist Greg Steffke (Compound Red—Desoto Records) started Chariots Race with long time musical collaborator Brian Simons (The Kiwi Waltz—Divot Records). Quickly the two recruited Erin Wolf to add her angelic voice and Chuck Engel on drums. As time moved on new directions were formed replacing Engel with Kevin J. Frank (Haymarket Riot—Divot Records/Thick Records, Traluma—Caulfield Records, Kiwi Waltz—Divot Records, Gauge) a profound drummer and an excellent songwriter, and adding a Fender Rhodes to Wolf’s duties. The result is songs that will attack with a precise sweetness.
